This policy covers moodypc.com, run by MoodyPC ("we") at 129 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053. It explains what we collect through the website, why, and who else handles it.
What we collect
When you send the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the kind of device, the day you'd like to come in, and what you write in the message. If you came from a symptom card or a plan, the form also notes which one. Name and either a phone number or an email are required. Everything else is optional.
When you visit any page: our hosting provider records basic technical information, like your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is standard for every website and is used to keep the site running and to block abuse.
We don't use analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
We use what you send through the form to call or email you back about your request, schedule your visit, and keep a record of what you asked for. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
We only send marketing emails or texts to people who have said yes to them. Sending the contact form doesn't sign you up for anything.
Your computer and your files
When you bring a device in for repair, our technicians only open your files when the job needs it, like recovering or transferring them.
Who else handles it
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps short-lived technical logs.
- Resend delivers form messages by email to our inbox at cs@moodypc.com.
- Google Maps, only if you tap "Show map" on the contact page. Google then handles that request under its own privacy policy.
The "Download Splashtop SOS" button takes you to Splashtop's own website. Their privacy policy applies there and during any remote session.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
The site itself doesn't set cookies. See the cookie policy for the details on the map.
How long we keep it
Form messages arrive as email and stay in our business inbox for as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records. The website doesn't keep its own copy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (817) 268-0257, email cs@moodypc.com, or stop by the shop. We'll answer within 45 days.
Children
The website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
